Ministers Valintin, M.Sidorov, and Yuri. O. Agshin

After pulling on for 75 years, the irreligious Soviet Union got disintegrated in 1992. A few years back, a delegation of the representatives of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus came to India. They unanimously decided that the rest of the World might give different reasons for the disintegration of Soviet Union, but according to them the only reasons for the disintegration of that country was the prevalence of irreligiousness in the country. These views are of Valintin, M. Sidorov and Yuri. O. Agshin. According to these ministers, they were touring the whole world to find out which religion could quench their spiritual thirst. While talking to the reporters of Dainik Tribune, Sirodou stated clearly that the tenets of Sikh religion are more useful and meaningful for them than any other system because Sikh teachings are closes to the postulates of Socialism which are emphasized by the formulators of socialism. The philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is based on complete faith in hard work, shared food and devotion of God. Although Socialism was also based on certain principles, there were many shortcomings in it. The view of Lenin that religion is opium for common men is in itself a major distortion of facts.
The members of delegation also told that efforts are being made to get Guru Granth Sahib and other writings of Sikh Gurus translated into Russian and other languages of former states of Soviet Union so that people may benefit from them. He also told that the translation of Japuji and Jaap Saahib have already been done. (Cited in Tribune)
It is hoped that the spiritual word created due to deprivation of religious influence in the Russians will be filled by their acceptance of the spiritual philosophy of Sikhism. They will live their lives based on socialist principles and enjoy the spiritual joy of religion. Only Sikh religion can guide their path.
